WSUS download stuck

Okay, WSUS is all set up nicely & updates have been approved. They start to download - and suddenly stop. No progress is to be seen in the number of packages downloaded and the amount of data. Now what?
Well, that's what happened to me today. Weirdness all around. Even the Microsoft-Default-Solution (yes: reboot server) didn't do the trick. So - what gives?
The solution was as simple as stupid: I had the WSUS content files on a drive with... quotas enabled. So the "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" had used up all of its quota - and stopped.
So all I needed to do was increase the quota for the "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" user, restart the "Update Services" service - and things went right back to normal.
Silly mistake, easy fix - but hopefully someone can use it to avoid searching for hours for a solution
